This cottage is very well equipped and furnished and provided an excellent base from which to explore the area. Although my husband and I were on our own it would be comfortable for six. Great holiday at Wroxham. Beautiful Accommodation. Very clean well equipped and beautiful location. Shaun and Andrea have taken great care to think of everything and a pleasure to deal with. There are several riverside restaurants, cafes, fish & chip & pizza takeaways that make Wroxham the perfect location for a bite to eat next to the water.

There is plenty to do in Wroxham including Broad Tours if you want somebody else to navigate or smaller day boat hire for you to skipper. Waveney Cottage is situated within a private marina leading directly onto the River Bure in Wroxham, Norfolk. Whilst a car would be useful it is not absolutely necessary given the very good local transport links.

By Car from the South:
Take the A11 to Norwich and go over the A47 (southern by-pass) to Norwich ring road.Turn left and continue round the ring road to A1151 and then travel approx 8 miles to Wroxham and Hoveton. Entering Wroxham, and after crossing the railway bridge and mini roundabout take the second right hand turn, into The Avenue. About a hundred yards take a left hand turn into Staitheway Road and follow this down towards the boatyard.
