Sandringham Cottage is set in a near perfect central position on the banks of the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads within clear view of the infamous Wroxham Bridge - perfect for a tranquil and relaxing break. Due to its prominent position on the Peninsula holiday cottages site - in what is often termed the Capital of the Broads - on the river at Wroxham - many guests have seen the cottage in friends' holiday pictures.

Double glazed French doors open onto your own South East facing patio, complete with chairs and picnic table for your use, with fine river views - an ideal place to while away the mornings while watching the activity on the river. Even though the majority of bookings are repeat we always take care to make the time to ensure that guests are rung a week or so before their holiday to ensure they are clear on how to access the cottage and answer any specific questions on the area or facilities. Clear directions and site plans are always provided to every guest to ensure the journey to the cottage is as straight forward and hassle free as possible.

About the neighbourhood
Wroxham, know as 'The Capital of the Broads' has plenty to offer the whole family.In the immediate vicinity of the cottage there are a number of tour boat operators, day boat operators, boat chandlers and fishing tackle shops for those that are interested in activities on the water - Wroxham Broad is about a mile down stream and a few miles upstream from the cottage are Belaugh and then Coltishall that has a few good pubs that can be accessed from the road or river.

There is also a range of pubs and restaurants, the nearest being The Shed is a converted boat shed that is no more than a 2 minute walk and offers a number of real ales, ciders and has a pool table and darts board for entertainment. Getting around
There are numerous day boat hire locations and skippered tour boat trips available within a short walk of the cottage - less than 10 minutes. You can even moor your day boat outside the cottage to collect your cool box without carrying it to the boat yard.

Connections are good - apart from road there is a park and ride just to the north of Norwich, a railway station in Wroxham and good bus routes.
