DUNTRODDEN HOUSE is situated in a beautiful remote location in Glenbeag, next to the Pictish Brochs, tall stone towers that date from 2000 years ago.
The house was built using native timber with a grass roof, it sleeps 9, with 2 double bedrooms, a triple bunk and a double bunk. We grow organic salads, fruit and vegetables and sell fine coffee, tea and home-baking from The Wagon Café, a vintage showman’s wagon. We are engaged in a number of projects, including the creation of 35ha of native woodland; the repair and rebuilding of dry stone walls and stone buildings and setting up our own microbrewery.

This was the most memorable holiday I have spent with my kids. Anywhere! The drive to Glenelg is but small preparation for the breathtaking scenery surrounding this architectural gem of a house. (I would entreat you to drive via Glencoe, if possible) Duntrodden House is...More
