AdriaticHome offers a comfortable three-bedroom vacation home surrounded by gardens directly on the Adriatic Sea. The 135-sq metre, two-and-a-half bath home sleeps six and is located directly on the sea in Tri Žala (three bays), three kilometers west of Korcula's old town.
From a quiet road, steps lead to the yellow stucco and stone home. One enters the main floor into the kitchen (remodeled and custom built in late 2018); facing the sea to the front are a living room and bedroom. Outside a 35-square metre terrace offers a panoramic view of the ocean and gardens.

Upstairs are another two bedrooms (one with single beds; the other with double bed) with parquet wood floors and a second full bathroom. The lower level is another large living room area with a small kitchen and toilet and another terrace in front. Private stairs from this level lead down gardens to a gazebo and then from there to the Adriatic. The final terrace before the sea also has an outdoor shower where you can rise off after your swim.
The waterfront here and across almost all of Korcula is rocky, but the crystal-clear water is easily entered from a small dock on the property. Traditional stone, flowers and plants decorate the property and extras include a large outdoor grill, a washing machine and many corners for relaxation.
The house is rented in its entirety and no one else will be there during your stay. Although a few islanders rent houses directly on the water, most subdivide the space inside.

From the terraces to the gardens to the waterfront gazebo, it was easy to discern that this house was built with care and with a passion for the site. We felt privileged to share its ambiance for 5 days spent on Korcula with old friends. In fact, we spent most of our time on the island in the house: eating together, swimming, observing vessel traffic on the Strait, watching sunsets and moonrises. While only a short drive from Korcula Old Town, this house is very private and offers a luxurious escape from the tourist hustle and bustle. The 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms, newly renovated kitchen, and multiple terraces and dining areas are well appointed and comfortable. Access to the blue Adriatic water through the dense gardens is spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental.

Unbelievable views, private, relaxing right on the crystal clear blue adriatic
We loved staying at this villa by the sea. Unbelievable views across the crystal clear Adriatic back to the mainland. The kids swam to the little island 200m offshore almost everyday. It’s like having the worlds biggest pool on your doorstep - no sharks, snakes...anything really. You can't get more private than this. The house has a lovely veranda and a little loggia down by the water including outdoor shower etc. The house itself was big enough for our family of 6 and all rooms had airconditioning which was great. Very clean good bedding/sheets. It's about 10m drive back to old Korcula town and shopping centre (good for parking as you walk into the old town). If you like sailing or windsurfing korcula is the place to be.

Great waterfront home that takes full advantage of the view.
This 3 bedroom home and two baths was perfect for my family of 6. This home offers water views from every bedroom. My only regret was not being able to stay longer than 3 nights. Mornings on the water were the absolute best. It was the time when the water was the calmest so swimming/snorkeling was easy. We had a few issues with washer, which we were counting on, and getting the refridgerator cold some of which were remedy with a quick phone call. It was the only thing from giving 5 stars. Host and care taker of the home are easily reachable. I would stay here again.

We're glad you had a fabulous time. We've asked a repair person to look at the washing machine to make sure it is running well.
We'd be glad to welcome you back in the future -- you are right, three nights is too short!

Stunning views and close to Korcula town
Our family of 4 spent a week in this stunning water front villa. It was an easy walk down to the sea and lots of terraces provided space to hang out while taking in the incredible views. It was easy to communicate with Adam and the local house manager was great. Having a car made our stay easier to get in and out of Korcula town and explore the island.

About the neighbourhood
One of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic, Korčula’s location between the markets of Europe and the Middle East and the intersection of Roman Catholic, Orthodox Christian and Islamic civilizations made it an important place.
The Pelješac canal in front of the house which divides the island from the mainland marked the divide between the western and eastern parts of the Roman Empire—Rome and Byzantium – and at times between Christianity and Islam. Because of its key strategic location along key East-West trading routes, there is hardly any European power that did not at one time or another take control of the island.
Getting around
The house is in Tri Žala, a short drive from the old town and ferry port. Tri Žala is named after the three small bays visible down the coastline from the property. The area is very quiet and without commercial development, with just about a dozen houses directly on the water along this area of the coast. The nearest store is 1.8 kilometers away. Whether you arrive by plane or boat, it is very handy to have a car on Korcula. AdriaticHome is on the coast, three kilometers from town so you will want a car to get to the island's best restaurants which are often not in town, as well as to buy groceries and explore the island. One can rent cars in Dubrovnik, Split and in Korcula (prices may be cheaper in Dubrovnik and Split).

How to get there
Air: fly to either Dubrovnik Airport or Split Airport. Dubrovnik is closer but has fewer ferry connections. Both cities are themselves worthy of visiting on route.
Boat: From Dubrovnik, split or elsewhere in the north, Jadrolinija ferries leave several times a week from Rijeka with stops in with stops in Zadar, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik. There are also car ferries and faster boats that travel from Split to Vela Luka on the west end of Korcula island (about an hour from the house).
Other options include car ferries from Ploče south of Split to Trpanj (one hour) on the Pelješac Peninsula and then a drive across the narrow peninsula to catch the car ferry from Orebić to Korcula (a 15 minute ride). In July and August here is a fast boat from Dubrovnik to Korcula as well.
If you are driving up from Dubrovnik you can drive directly up the Pelješac Peninsula to the ferry in Orebić. The drive from the Dubrovnik airport to Orebić should take about two and a half hours. The ferries run frequently from Orebić to Korcula town's main ferry port.
