The problem is a major one----you love the wines, all of them, including the pink, rosé.You arrived with a rent a car.And the police, rightly,is watching you.To dare or not to dare, that is the question. For Hamlet no problem,no control in his days of drunkeness. So,one person, the designated driver, will stay on water.Too bad, because the Chateau is a delight, the reception "cool"in the hippie sense. The "cave"looks like a space station, underground though, and when you are lucky there is an art exhibition in the park, you may meet Sofia Coppola, who is the owners daughter in law,or you meet some rugby stars ,since Jean Louis Croquet, the propietor,is a rugby fanatic.Even if you are the driver, you will enjoy the visit, since the surrounding villages are as excuisite as the wine of the Chateau.Don t drink too much.Take some cases home,if your destination is not New York or Buenos Aires

Worth a visit if you are staying in the area and want to do some wine tasting and perhaps buy a few bottles for your stay. They make red, rosé and white wines and for Provence Les Abeillons white is above average. Of the reds the top wine is L'Exception and although I appreciate its quality I prefer the next one down, Les Abeillons red. The Chateau is also a good fruity everyday wine. Best of all I find the Chateau Thuerry red and the rosé boxed wines are excellent for daily drinking. In particular they are both very suitable for a Provencal lunch, served in carafes for everyone to help themselves.

lovely vineyard, very knowledgable staff. Great wine at a decent price too. bought a few bottles to take home of course :-) We had a brilliant private tour of the vineyard, as there was no-one else around booked in, so we got to see all the workings and had a very in depth tour. and best of all it was FREE! can't complain at that. Reccomended.
