The hotel is not well maintained, it needs serious and urgent revamping.
The location and surroundings are beautiful but the hotel not so much.
Windows in our room were broken, one light out of four was working, rooms not so clean, couches filthy.

Place is nice I just didn’t like reception from a White guy called Winston as he was very rude with on my arrival telling me in a very unacceptable manner that i must remove my car as i was parking in non designated parking space. Didn’t have a problem of parking on designated space but the way he removed me was very rude, I even told him that I was a guest and he’s supposed to talk to me nicer, but just decided to ignore me

Friendly staff. Beautiful views. Upper class stay that's not too expensive. With boats surrounding you the noise levels are none existing. Feels like an island when you in your room The weather was just perfect. And the beach is s stones throw away. Perfect for family vacations

We wanted an overnight that would provide rest and some luxuries, and in some ways Halyards was a little disappointing. They offer wifi tokens for purchase (guests get an initial one for free), but there was no signal in our room (or from our table in the restaurant at breakfast). Sitting in the bar to go online seemed to be the best bet, but is far from ideal. There was DSTV, but the TV wasn't great and not all of the promised channels were tuned. The bathroom was very small and the fan was hanging at an angle, exposing a hole in the ceiling.

On the plus side, there is a pool, a jacuzzi, and pool tables, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. More specifically, there is an Algerian pastry chef who is a genius. I could not conceive of more perfect danishes and sticky buns as he made that day. If any high-end restauranteur is reading this, you should absolutely interview him and steal him away. I would come back to the Halyards because of him.
