Great place to relax. The rooms is great and well kept. There is great activities for the kids. On arrival the kids got t shirts, should have seen there faces. The FOOD, great great great great. Every meal, very big variety. Everyone did not want to leave.

This is a hidden gem in the Eastern Cape. The accomodation is luxurious. Theres so much of fun activities for the kids to engage in. They were busy for hours. The rooms have absolutely beautiful views of the beach.

We had our wedding at Mpekweni on the 02.02.19. It was a lifetime memory engraved in our hearts. This is the ultimate wedding destination with an impeccable management and staff team.
Yvette is the perfect planner, professional and always willing to assist.
We had a beach ceremony alongside the river and canapés at their renovated Pool bar…. absolutely beautiful and it overlooks the sea from rooftop.
A warm welcome from reception staff who had friendly smiles; professional behaviour and prompt responses to request.
The rooms, bathrooms, public areas at the hotel and villas, were spotless.
We received a massage at the resort’s wellness spa , the spa was beautifully set up with an exquisite ambience… suited for leisure and executives.
Service was of a top class quality. Food was outstanding, our guests could not stop giving us feedback on how delicious the quality and display of the food was. The variety of dishes was a true testimony of “value for money”.
Mpekweni Beach Resort is definitely the wedding destination of choice.

This is an awesome find. Colin and Nicolette go out of their way to make sure you have an awesome holiday. Their staff are friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. Chef Ashley and his team prepared a feast fit for a king at breakfast and dinner. Fussy eaters and people with food allergies are all taken care of and again nothing is too much trouble. We were there for 7 days and at the end we felt it was maybe a bit short and could easily have stayed for longer. We stayed in the family suites and found the accommodation to be amongst the best we have had on our extensive travels with plenty space for everyone. The holiday entertainment for the kids was awesome, well attended and always looked like great fun. The hallmark of a good day is always kids who are begging to go sleep after a fun filled day.
The route I took to get there was the N1 then the N6. The roads are well maintained although there are stop and go's along the way. Those that flew to East London airport and then drove the 1 hour to the resort said it was hassle free.
If I could give this resort 10 stars I would. This was definitely the best holiday resort we have been to and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a resort that caters for everyone on one of the most unspoilt, pristine beaches in the Eastern Cape.

Excellent place for working mom to rest and have me time. So much for kids to do like putt putt, swimming pool, table tennis,PS4, tennis, squash and pool,Also a gym for adults. No cooking and housekeeping for parents- buffet D&B. Clean, private, safe. Really worth the money - kids program
