Visiting rain forest with family

We booked this hotel mainly because it was close to all activities and walking distance to Monteverde downtown. This hotel overlooks down, so expect uphill and downhill going to downtown. Those with walking issues should take the car or taxi. This is a boutique hotel surrounded by trees and nice gardens on the premises. The room was spacious and clean. Reception staff very friendly and outstanding. Breakfast was included with limited variety.
The sunset view from balcony is fantastic. I would have given a rating of 5 except that the WIFI in our was nonexistent and nowadays I believe that this should be a given. Eventually. We had to go totb ed lobby to use WiFi

Great spot to explore the cloud forest

Had a lovely time. Great things to see from here and the sunset cocktails were really lovely. Recommend the Guaro Sours… The suites are spacious and the staff are great. Lots of restaurants and shops a (hill) walk away. Will definitely recommend.

Monte Verde and Hotel Ficus - Amazing!

Our family had an amazing time in Monte Verde. Hotel Ficus was a great place to stay and central to restaurants and shopping.

At the hotel Ficus, Manfred at the front desk was so amazing. He always made our day special. He helped with all our reservation needs and was a great resource for all of the best things to do. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Thanks for an amazing trip to Monterey Verde!

Summer visit

Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. The view from the breakfast area offered sweeping vistas of the town and the sunsets were magical to watch from there as well. Delicious sangrias were available at happy hours.

Location was perfect as it was only a 5 minute or less walk into town.

Lovely hotel

This is a lovely hotel! Very close to everything and walking distance to the shops and town centre but also to Curi- Cancha. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. I would give it 5 stars but there was no air conditioning or gym facilities but I know this is being worked on. Would definitely stay again. The staff were SO lovely and so helpful.
