It was the perfect hotel for us, we felt more homey and in touch with the local experience , previously we stayed at the Infinity Beach Hotel , and we found it very impersonal .
Service at Fosters was great, food was yummy , the staff friendly, i loved to swing in the hammock , overall great experience, strongly recommend!

We've stayed in Roatan half a dozen times at several mom and pop resorts. Foster's is a nice, quiet resort with comfortable rooms and the expected tired tired appearance if some if the appliances and decor. We had a problem with the shower head and they replaced it. Just typical stuff for this type of resort. They had awesome service. We felt very safe. It was well situated, right next to a nice dive shop at the end of West end beach. Each room had filtered water, TV, microwave, fridge, hammock, comfy beds and awesome AC. (These are all the things you need on Roatan). We had an awesome time.

Room Tip: If something isn't right, say something. They will go out of their way to fix it.

We decided to visit Roatan at the last minute and Foster's was the only place available for a group of eight. The customer service was good but the price was high for a 3 bedroom unit ($266/night) that was clean but out-dated with mismatched curtains and decor. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed both days we were there although there was a shortage of towels at the time. Each room had a water cooler which was a great saving for a group of 8. The pool is small but doable for small kids. Access to the beach and water activities was right outside our door another big plus when traveling with kids. The worst part was the vendors pestering us to get a massage or our hair braided while we laid on the complementary chairs trying to relax in the sun. Not sure if Fosters can do anything about this but I did notice other hotels having signs posted stating "No Vendors Allowed". All in all not a bad place but they should spend some time and money in updating their units.

This was my third time staying at Foster's and every time I visit it they have something better. This time I stayed at their cabaña 4 it would make you feel at home in paradise. Great view from the balcon. Hotel staff is the best really friendly and they are always willing to help out in anything even when is not a hotel issue.

It cost us $10pp to enjoy the beach. Yes, there are vendors but from what we’ve seen in every non-US beach, that is the norm. There were lots of security officers around to keep them from getting too pushy. We enjoyed lunch at fosters, the ceviche was delicious. I had fish tacos that were also yummy!! My niece had a Monkey LaLa drink that was delicious. I recommend this spot for an afternoon. We didn’t stay at the hotel, just as day guests as we were cruising to the port.
