“Lovely little house in a quiet relaxing French village.”

The house is on three levels, quite quirky but very clean and much loved. Its very well equipped. We made quite a few meals there.
The location is very quiet with everything you need. A couple of restaurants. A couple of pubs. Two patisseries where you can get your croissants or pain au chocolate for your breakfast. A Spar shop which sells everything you need. The staff don't speak English but were very friendly and helpful. In fact everyone we met were very friendly.
The canal du midi was about 10 minutes walk away then you could have a lovely walk along the canal to the beach. This took about an hour. You can hire a bike if you wish.
The buses weren't running to the beach when we were there but it was the first week of the season. There were buses to Beziers, which is a beautiful city.
Of course if you hire a car everything is very accessible.
You couldn't get a more relaxed, quiet, quintessential French village.

“A little gem!”
Reviewed 27 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This is the sort of property which the French pass down the generations, but updated by the current owners. Right in the heart of the village, with 3 boulangeries, a good butchers, a Sunday market throughout the year, a fabulous Cave CO-OPERATIVE, and, best of all, an excellent cafe/bar open all year with an English speaking host who is a wine expert. Don't leave without buying something. And come back!

“2 glorious weeks in the South Of France”
Reviewed 26 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Very typically french, exactly what we wanted. House smaller than we thought but we fitted in. My husband, myself and our 14 year old loved the top floor. Great to walk to the shop for provisions, village very friendly. Lucky to arrive the weekend that Bulls were running through the street, great to socialize with the locals with free booze afterwards. Another night there was a concert another night fireworks. All within walking distance. Only disappointment was no typical french restaurant, only a bar . Beach was beautiful, we visited the west beach with amazing sea food restaurant. All in all perfect for us.
