Description: Thali Thali is a 1,460 hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, just over 1 hours drive from Cape Town, bordering the West Coast National Park. The Cape West Coast is intoxicating and the Langebaan area with its beautiful lagoon has a charm that keeps people coming back year after year. Come and enjoy West Coast hospitality at its best while drinking in the most beautiful sunsets and night skies from our deck. The restaurant and bar is situated next to a boma and splash-pool which makes it cosy and comfortable with great views. Enjoy a lazy lunch in our garden, while the kids play in the splash pool or monkey around on the jungle gyms. Our food is true to our region, true to the tradition of South African cooking. Meals are beautifully displayed, and generous portions always leave our guests satisfied and excited to come back again. We offer buffets on Sundays, and our bread displays and platters are legendary. We also cater for conferences, celebrations and weddings and enjoy planning that special menu with our guests. We can cater for up to 60 guests in our cozy restaurant, but our marquee can accommodate up to 100 guests for those larger functions or weddings. A visit to Thali Thali offers the ideal laid-back West Coast style break-away - complete with game drives, archery lessons and sundowners on the deck for the not so adventurous. We boast a wide range of game like kudu, oryx, giraffe, red hartebeest, eland, zebra, sable, springbok, black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, ostrich, dromedary camel and emu. The reserve is also home to many different bird species and guests are welcome to enjoy a walk in the fynbos to view these creatures.

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of the safari tents. It was very well presented and had everything you could need. Fridge, microwave, toasters hairdryer, safe. Proper bathroom, and it's own braai area.Nice verandah for views of the sunset.
We had snacks and one evening meal in the restaurant. All very good, home cooked and very reasonably priced.
Breakfast was good. You chose from the menu. All good, and good portion sizes.
We did the game drive which was very interesting and the young girl(Eunika?) Was great. Giraffe, wildebeest, buffalo, lots of buck. Again very reasonably priced for about 2 hours.
Special mention for all the staff they really could not be more helpful and friendly, especially Ashely(don't forget the beans 🤣).
Really excellent service and banter. Can't recommend place highly enough
Please visit them, you won't be disappointed

This was our first experience of glamping and we were not disappointed!
Our chalet was well equipped with a big comfy bed, lovely white fluffy towels, kettle, fridge, microwave and even an air conditioning unit, which we didn't need to use.
The bathroom area was basic but adequate.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating throughout our stay.
We were a short walk away from reception and the restaurant, where the food on offer was excellent, with a wide choice of breakfast options, and a varied dinner menu too. A great selection of cocktails at very reasonable prices was also available.
A big shout out to Ian(?), our archery coach and our game drive guide. Ian was very knowledgeable, providing us with lots of information about the wildlife we spotted

Absolutely amazing. Everything was so much more than we expected and the staff and people that run the place were 5 star. Loved it and would highly recommend it. We stayed in chalet 1 and chalet 3 which are the 1 bedroom units, did the game drive, braaied and ate at the restaurant. There was no reason to leave once you were there.

Our weekend away at ThaliThali started with a game drive. The guide was very knowledgeable and we almost spotted all the diffetent game and we even spotted Frikkie the Sable. Everybody is very friendly and helpfull at the lodge. We stayed in Chalet #2, in my opinion the best Chalet. Everything is tidy, clean and we only needed to pack clothes and food. We also enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. The food is very tasty, well priced and you get a descent portion. This is a definite yes to visit and rest the soul.
