A short review but I’ll try and mention as much as possible. Before we came, myself and my wife read some good and bad reviews on here, but can’t understand how on earth anyone can say a bad word about this resort. We’ve stayed in 5 different sensatori resorts and this place is amongst the best we’ve been too. The food is good (plenty of choice), the resort is very clean and well laid out and the staff are very helpful and polite with the service levels at 10/10. Will definitely come back.

The swim-up rooms are a must if you just want to chill after spending some time at the activity pools with the kids.

We arrived for our 2nd visit to BLV, for a week at May half term. It was just as fantastic as it was the first time we visited in July of 2014.

When you arrive you can’t fail to be impressed with the wow factor everywhere you look it’s very pretty and immaculately clean!

We arrived by Taxi and within a few minutes we were checked in and on way to our room by golf cart! We had the most amazing room it was a private pool room. It had lovely views of the sea and a lovely big outside terrace area. The pool was the perfect size for our children not too big or deep for them they are 10 and 7.

The room itself was clean and had fantastic views of the sea from the bathroom! Bed was very comfy and had lounge area, mini bar and tea and coffee facilities!

A perfect room for us, nothing was too far away!

We spent time around all the pool areas, we went to a different pool each day, so you can never get bored here! Our favourite the pool with the swim up bar.

The food was fantastic my favourite being the a la carte restaurants a great choice and in particular we loved the Chinese and the Greek, the Greek has a lovely relaxing location by the pool and beach.

The beach is great, we loved the pontoon and the highlight was feeding all the fish bread from the pontoon. Some amazing colour fish can be found!

The watersports team are great very professional my husband did knee boarding with Paul, and loved it!

We hired a car and went around Kos town for the day and Zia definitely would recommend Zia it was so pretty with lovely restaurants and stunning views.

We couldn’t fault the hotel at all, it was as before immaculate, staff are so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help make your holiday great! We had the best time and had fantastic weather. It’s a stunning hotel and we can’t wait to return for our 3rd visit!

Family friendly with the best staff!!! I would like to say that this has to be the best holiday to date. Everything about Blue Lagoon Village was delightful, the setting, the amenities, and most of all the staff. Blv is set in an idilic beach with modern accommodation. The staff fall over themselves to ensure you have more than an enjoyable stay. The resort is impeccably maintained. Any request is not too much trouble. One member of staff, especially, stays close to our heart. He built a beautiful relationship with our family, has a wonderful way with children, and had a fantastic impact on our first impression of the holiday. Kostas drives the golf buggy’s around the resort. We were always welcomed with a smile, he takes great interest in the families and adds such a personal touch to the holiday. We felt very important in the very short time we spent with him. We will treasure our time spent with BLV with a place in our hearts for KOSTAS!!!

Just back from 2 weeks at Blue Lagoon, room was great twin sea view upgrade by the hotel from a partial sea view and was the perfect location in the 4000 block, close to the activity pool and Greek and Italian Restaurants for lunch, not too far uphill walk for breakfast and dinner at the buffet. Only downside was the 2 twin beds instead of a double.
Food on the whole was good, Chinese was ok nothing special for lunch and for dinner so we only ventured there once for each, i got he feeling that the evening meals were just prepared in the same way as the buffet and dished out when ordered. Overall the quality of the meat was really good, not much fish on offer and pretty dried out on the buffets which was a shame. Really enjoyed the salad selection in the Italian at lunch every day different lentil/cous cous/mixed veg salads that were delicious! Also really enjoyed our 2 visits to the BBQ restaurant. The buffet had plenty of variety and is split into three sections, in three different areas, different food in each section, i wasn't fond of this as each night with a 6 year old and 3 year old we had to go round each section to look and then back again to pick, made the process very drawn out by the time we all got our food, would have been so much better if it was all together! Breakfast was great, lot of variety but again omelettes in one section, poached eggs at another which made for a long drawn out breakfast if you have little independent kids who want to go and pick for themselves but still have to be supervised!
Kids club was super girls enjoyed going there every few days from 10-12 to escape the sun and they did the pizza, PJ and bake off parties in the evenings which they loved and we got some alone time and respite from walking around the buffet for an hour :)
Pools were great spent most of our time in the baby and activity pool, didn't get to use the one with the pool bar as it was too deep for the kids. There is a room just beside the baby pool that i didn't know about to the 2nd week of our holiday, filled with ikea kids stuff, tables/chairs/tent/chalkboard which was a great idea to give the little ones respite from the sun, the canopy over the baby pool is a great touch too!
All in all we had a lovely holiday, would we return, probably not, the AI food got very repetitive over 2 full weeks even though we hired a car and ate out for 3 days, the hotel was too remote also but we knew about that when we booked but didn't realise how much i would miss not being able to walk somewhere in the evenings just for a change of scenery. We went to Kefalos old village for the evening and had dinner which was fantastic, lovely setting.

Travelled here in the first week of June. Holiday was for 2 adults and our two children, 4 and 2.
We booked a sea view family room and where blown away by its size and layout and view which was breathtaking. Having the two children in a twin room and ourselves in another with balcony access meant that we could enjoy a drink on our balcony when they were sleeping.
The resort is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Loved all the pools and the added bonus of the free splash park was perfect - kept our two nice and busy.
The restaurants were fantastic. The food was lovely and hot and my 4 year old always found something nice to eat. I took the majority of my 2 year olds food with us (as he is very fussy) and staff where more than helpful when we needed something heating up.
Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel for another family holiday! Thank
