We have just returned from a lovely wedding at this venue. I have to say that the location is quite breathtaking and the wedding itself was fantastic. The wedding food was of the highest quality. The restaurant area was very well presented and well maintained grounds. Staff were very welcoming and certainly went out of their way to ensure you had a pleasant stay.

The rooms were very dated however, very basic. They certainly need to be updated. We had no heating and it was quite cold, not all lights and sockets worked, no hairdryers in the room, strange furniture. Some guests didn’t even have hot running water for showers. I believe they were recompensed when they checked out but not an ideal situation at all. Breakfast was very average which is surprising considering the wedding food was so good.

A real contrast between a 5 star location and 2 star accommodation. A shame because if they could address these few issues it would tick all the boxes.

Attended a wedding here and this venue was not up to scratch. Despite paying £70pppn, we were given a sofa bed to sleep on. The food was poor except for the wedding reception which they appeared to have got outside caterers in for and the staff young and inexperienced. Despite the lovely location, we could not recommend this place.

Just been to a wedding here - which was beautiful from start to finish on the day, cannot complain! Rooms however are very dated and in need of sprucing up - no charm at all, very dark and dingey, furniture doesn't match, bugs everywhere... they also don't really like to feed you. We had access to a car luckily enough to drive to a village but the place is very remote. Would say the reception area could do with couches too.

I have just returned from a three night stay at this premises. Although set in the beautiful Tuscan hills this accommodation leaves a lot to be desired.

The rooms are dated and shabby, and generally substandard from what we expected to receive for the price we paid. When we arrived to our room we discovered the shower door was falling off and there was no hot water. The furniture is old and basic with zero charm. The rooms definitely need a make over. The toiletries were not replenished and when the room was cleaned the towels were taken away with no replacement.
The hairdryer was practically unusable and no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The food was canteen quality and seemed to be recycled each day. The staff seemed to feel like each request we had was a chore. The only member who appeared to be remotely helpful was the Spanish lady who assisted us with flight issues. Although they appear to offer a restaurant when we asked about lunch they seems shocked and said they would try and put something together. On our final day we arrived at breakfast 30 minutes before it was due to finish to find everything was cleared away and no staff to be seen.

All in all nice scenery but I highly recommend driving by and seek other accommodation.

The most beautiful wedding venue that we have ever been to! Every meal we had at Montelucci, from brunches to the wedding dinner, was superb! The resort is situated in a perfect location in the Tuscan hills with beautiful views in every direction. The villas on the grounds are charming and inlcuded all the ameneties that you could need. The pool was also a great spot to spend some time and relax. A big thank-you to the staff who were very attentive :)
