This restaurant was not open on our last visit to St Lucia. It is located near the new casino in Baywalk Mall, Rodney Bay.

The ambience of the restaurant was very nice, even to the extent of interesting murals on the ceiling! I particularly liked the paintings of spices on the wall opposite the open kitchen area. The kitchen was very clean. The service was very attentive (slightly over-attentive). There were a few bloopers at the start, my husband and I ordered a gin and tonic and got two large glasses of gin with ice!! This was quickly remedied. Our friends ordered campari and soda and got cranberry juice with tonic. Again this was sorted quickly.

Now to the food…. This was excellent. The presentation was fun, the starters presented on a 3 tier stand Tapas style. My starter was spicy crab cakes and they were delicious with generous portion of crab. My main course which was Himlayan Goat curry was nicely spicy. My husband’s prawn patia was good, if slightly on the sweet side for my preference. One of our friends was vegetarian and she had a chick pea dish which was delicious. In addition the Tarka dall was good with plenty of garlic. Incidentally, the waiters will ask you how spicy/hot you like your food when they take your order. One of our friends had a saffron mild chicken dish which was well-flavoured although definitely mild!

All four of us really enjoyed the meal. I spoke to Chef Aldi afterwards and it was obvious that he had a lot of previous experience and was very keen to hear guest feedback. Our two friends are ex-pats and said that the food was very good. There were a mixture of Lucians, ex-pats and tourists eating there, and, for a quiet evening in Rodney Bay, the restaurant was quite busy.

Finally, the food was good value for money considering where you are. I will definitely go back there next time. A good addition to the choices of restaurants in Rodney Bay.

Thanks for your great words about my restaurant. This restaurant took birth out of my passion for producing and serving great food to people. I have been open only two months now and I am working on bringing the product even notch higher. Thanks for the visit and will look forward to seeing you again in my restaurant.

Actually a great resturant - one of the best in Rodney Bay (why has it been listed in Gros Islet?).

Anyway, we have a greta meal there, and a great chat with the owner/cheff. Was really keen to hear our feedback!
