We had a wonderful weekend spent at Lentaba Lodge recently. The accommodation, service and catering were all world class. We also enjoyed very special game drives and were rewarded for getting up early by beautiful sightings of cheetah, lion, rhino, ellies and buffalo, as well as a fleeting glimpse of a brown hyena and a report of aardwolf which was sighted by another game car.More
We have just come back from a very memorable family weekend. We had such a wonderful time and was very well looked after. Our ranger Liezel went out of her way to make it a great experience for all of us. We were very fortunate to see the 2 little cheetah cubs and witness a Blesbuck giving birth. As usual, the food was excellent, the accommodation very comfortable and the staff very friendly and caring. This was my 5th visit to Lalibela and it will not be the last. We absolutely love it there!! As Wendy would say..."Eat, Sleep, Safari, Repeat!!"

We had the good fortune to have a 2 night 3 day mini break last weekend at Lentaba Lodge which is an easy 1 hour drive from Port Elizabeth . It was our first mini holiday post COVID lockdown and was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The first day was particularly hot with the temperature in the car showing 42C just as we arrived to the reception . Lentaba is a lodge where you can do as much or as little as you like and it is very enjoyable and decadent to relax in and around the lodge and enjoy a pot of tea or G & T whilst soaking up the Eastern Cape Bush ! I would highly recommend to go and take advantage of the incredible rates currently being offered to locals. The photos are only off an iPhone but give an idea of what you will see ! Also a special shout out to Ticha our very knowledgeable guide from Zimbabwe . Can’t wait to try Kichaka the newly renovated luxury lodge next time . Cheers

We visited Marks Camp at the end of october and once again the experience was amazing. Our guide, Carrie Ann, made the experience so interesting for all of us, from showing us various animal tracks to tasting termites, even stopping to show us an African Land snail ,she kept all of us, and especially our children engaged. We saw the big 4 and enjoyed 4 spectacular game drives.
The highlight was definitely swimming in the pool while elephants drank at the watering hole below us.
Bongi and Wendy kept us entertained and so well looked after in the dining room
And hats off to the chef as the food was amazing
My son is still talking about the kudu steak!

This was our second visit and was as outstanding as our first. The accommodation was first class as was the dinning. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and hospital. Nothing was too much trouble and every one went that extra mile.
Our ranger for the four days was Darren who made sure that we saw all of the big five. Nothing was too much trouble and every day was a new adventure. I had damaged my hamstring before our visit and he made sure that I was really looked after. It is impossible to complain about anything as everything was perfect.

We had a great experience at Mark's Camp. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious with high quality linen. The meals were very tasteful and special requests were handled with pleasure. The staff was very friendly and most helpful making our stay at the lodge very memorable. A definite highlight was the game viewing where we were able to get very close to the animals. There is an abundance of animals, birds and beautiful scenes.
Our guide, Carrie-Ann, must receive a special mention with her vast knowledge making the viewing very informative. She went out of her way to accommodate our requests and we experienced great encounters with the animals thanks to her.
Lalibela is a sure recommendation.
