If you're in Parma don't forget to try a bit of the tradition of Sardinia cuisine at theCasale Mariposa (Butterfly); it's one of my favourite choice for a simple and nice family dinner. If you go,don't forget the mixed appetizers, with the light and perfumed lettuce with honey and cheese, the mix of seasoned vegetables, the "old" pecorino cheese, the celery with bottarga and so on. All of the pasta dishes are tasty and interesting; meats are particular: sheep, lamb...If you like light and sparkling wine I suggest the Balari vermentino, it's worth a try. Simple and clean place, with enough space between tables with wide b/w photographs of old sardinian scenes at the walls.
