The restaurant gets #1 slot in the area - and to be fair, there is not much culinary competition so that rating is to be deserved. The attitude of the maitre d is however something of a different order of rating. Rather than being helpful and listening, he tells you what is good for you and does not listen to what you say you actually want. It may have been his attempt to be helpful, but it came across as arrogant and patronising. 'the maitre d' is always right and is doing you a favour by dictating to you your own taste'!
As a result, he ruined the atmosphere for us, which was a pity as the food was a 4. It wouldnt be a place I rushed back to.
