“Perfect house in a perfect setting.”

Morgan has refurbished this lovely house to the highest standard. Everything and the kitchen sink is available for you to cook a feast if you want. The masssive locally baked chocolate cake milk and eggs left for us were well appreciated.
Each room has its own bathroom so there is no fighting in the morning for the bathroom. The house is lovely and cozy with the two log burners. Everyone staying commented on how comfortable the beds were.
The house is very accessible for those coming by plane, car and train. (our party used all modes of transport). Would definately stay again if coming back to Edale.

“A perfect home for our combined family / friends gathering and new year celebrations”

A great location in the heart of Edale. Close enough to all local amenities and walks if the weather permits. We had a really wet few days but there was plenty of space in the house to avoid going stir crazy and coat and shoe storage for when we returned from venturing out.

Well equipped, it was easy to cater for the three families gathered and the rooms were set up just as we needed them. Also plenty of bathrooms to choose from and sufficient hot water.

A great place for any gathering of friends and family.

“Recently renovated high quality house, perfect for family groups”

We were an extended family group of 12 and stayed for a week over Christmas. It was perfect. It's lovely to walk into a rented house and see really good quality furniture and fittings. The bathrooms (each bedroom apart from one is en suite) were lovely. We also liked the large and well fitted kitchen and the two living areas downstairs plus comfortable bedrooms (good bedding) with TV/DVD players so we could all get away from each other if we needed!

Morgan was helpful all the way (he lives nearby anyway) and the kindest of all was that he put up a large Christmas tree and decorated the house for us with boughs of holly and ivy. It seemed like an instant family home when we arrived.

Other plus points are the location at the end of the Pennine Way in a pretty village with lovely pub. And lots of excellent walking straight from the door.

“Best trip/accomodation in 20years of trips to derbyshire.”
Reviewed 3 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Belmont house for us was the in the perfect location nestled in the village of Edale. Whether walking, biking or touring it was fantastic. The house itself is top quality, the furnishings and décor are very good along with the excellent kitchen/log burners and showers/bathrooms. There were16 very dirty men all cleaned and ready for the pub in very short order (there are 2 pubs within 500yds). Just to add the house was warm with plenty of hot water. Our group have been going to Derbyshire for 20yrs and this was the best place we've stayed and it made for us the perfect break.

“Amazing venue for a group weekend away and party!”
Reviewed 15 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

A group of 14 of us hired this house for a stag weekend away, and couldn't have been happier. The whole house is kitted out to a very high standard, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers wonderful (and plentiful!) and the kitchen brilliantly stocked with everything we could possibly need.

Morgan (the owner) was fantastically helpful (we arrived to find him unloading the early-arriving food delivery into the kitchen for us!), and attentive while also leaving us to ourselves.

In short, a fantastic venue. I couldn't recommend it highly enough to anyone that fancies a few days away based around beautiful walks in the Peak District.

Liked best: Too hard to decide! Either the incredibly comfy beds or the wonderful kitchen.
Liked least: As there were so many showers, if ALL of them were being used at once the water pressure was low. As you can tell, I'm really struggling to come up with a negative!
