Really enjoyed them good quality fish haddock and cod fair sized portions owner and staff are very friendly..
We had to sit on the benches to eat them but it was a nice sunny day so no problem....

Arrived back home armed with trays of chips for a hungry hubby and kids only to find half empty trays consisting of a dozen chips each which wouldn't even fill a bread-cake!...On two previous visits we were also given miniscule portions of fish n chip. Ended up cooking my own lunch as we were all still hungry!! I raised my concerns with the owner and his reply was 'a portion is a portion!. Save your brass and go to Pateley Pizza or the butchers for a pork pie! At least you will full.

We joined the queue and ordered fish bites which were subsequently served with a supposedly large portion of chips. There were only 4 very small pieces of fish served with anaemic looking chips which as I had ordered a large portion expected more than was served. Very disappointed.
