We visited Pateley Bridge today and went in for lunch. It was busy and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The service was quick and well organised. The owner said they had only taken over the place 8 weeks ago and they were certainly making a huge effort to build up this great business. There was a wide and varied menu with lots of specials. Hot or cold food, cakes and puddings. We were spoilt for choice. Everything was very reasonably priced. We had the pork and stuffing sandwiches with homemade gravy which were delicious. We also had a portion of homemade chips just like my Mum makes and they were amazing. Made me realise how boring oven chips are! We will definitely be going back next time we visit Pateley Bridge. A super place.

Called in for lunch, usually picnic out but weather was against that. Had soup and sandwich combo, sandwiches well filled and very nice. Tomato soup was not great and just warm only, should be piping hot.
Service was excellent and friendly, will pop in again when in the area.

After seeing the reviews my boyfriend and I decided to stop by on our last day in Pateley Bridge for lunch.

We both had the beef Sunday roast and it was amazing. Great portions, fresh and homemade. Just as good as my grandma's back home.

We had coffee and cakes for dessert and these did not disappoint either. The red velvet was divine.

I would 100% come back here, the staff are attentive and welcoming and even though the tea shop is busy they can't do enough for you.

Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

Visited the tea shop for something small and light and it did not disappoint.

Food was delicious, fresh and simple.

Most impressive were the staff - absolutely charming and very polite.

The scones are homemade as are the jammy dodgers!! I love a jammy dodger!
