The Lalibela Game Reserve is an awesome place. Our whole stay was excellent. The service, the game drives and the rooms were perfect. Looking forward to visit it again.

I visited in 2015 (this is a late review, obvs). This place iwas amazing - you are treated incredibly well. I hope it's even better now. The food, the staff, the relaxation areas are fantastic. There was one person in particular, Joseph, who was sort like the go-to person maybe hospitality manager - he was great. There were 2 or 3 safaris a day, sunset cocktails, shots and hot warm towels when you get back to the lodge. AND we saw all the animals. The reserve is very big so you're in the open top car for a while often before you see the animal you might be interested in but you will. It's well organised. You won't be disappointed. Hopefully you get a nice group for the car - we were lucky!

Our first Safari and what a fantastic experience. We arrived later than expected, but were greeted with a superb welcome, nothing appeared to be of any trouble. The lodge staff, too many to name were all fantastic throughout our 5 night stay.
Craig, our Safari guide was really good. Found, by tracking, loads of the animals, and always kept a respectful distance from them. At no time did we feel vulnerable.
We have memories that will last our lifetimes, and if we ever want to do a Safari again it will likely be at Lentaba Lodge, Lalibela.

The only thing I might consider different is to bring a zoom lens camera, the phone didn’t quite cut it.
