We stayed at the villa first week of June 2013, we arrived around midnight all rather tired, but it was good to find there was a little welcome of beer and wine, and some food for breakfast the following morning. This was a mice little touch, and the beer was very much appreciated after all that travelling with kids.
Speaking of which this was the first time we had taken the three kids (all under 4) on a plane, after all that travelling with them, it was great that they could get there and really enjoy themselves as the house accommodates young children very well with its array of toys, books and inflatables for the pool!!!
The villa is very relaxing environment, and has all the facilities you are likely to need, the pool is fantastic on the hot days and was lovely to cool down in there. Bedrooms were cool in the evening and very spacious with nice comfortable beds.
The villa is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, and about 15 mins (with two small kids in tow) to the market, although you will need to get there early, we turned up around lunchtime and only the fruit and veg stall was there. The big thing about the village though is the beach and the bay, it is an absolute treat, the kids loved playing on the beach and walking round to the sand dune to the right of the bay. Only downside to the village it did seem to lack any good dining places, but that may have been for lack of looking as the kids usually demanded we ate asap!!
All in all, this is a fantastic villa, and would not hesitate recommending it to anyone. I will certainly be going back, but maybe after the chaos of the trip through the airport with the kids, i might give planes a miss till they are a bit older, which is a shame as this is lovely place to go.
Liked best:
The villa is well presented and caters well for a young family
Liked least:
Lack of internet access, although subsequently found out there is a pay as you go hotspot available
