Description: Welcome to Café Fusiones!... a place that initially emerged as an idea in November 2008, we wanted to create a space in which people enjoy and encounter the flavour, aroma, beauty and quality of the organic products which are offered in our region – Amazonas. In April 2009, we opened our doors in order to offer you an extensive menu with a fusion of flavours based on regional organic products, following the principles of ‘slow food’ (as opposed to fast food), guaranteeing good, fair food, with tasty ingredients, produced without damaging the environment, wildlife or our own health; and always ensuring a fair and just price is paid to the producers. For this reason, we work directly with community organizations and private businesses, such as the Cooperativa Agraria Rodríguez de Mendoza with their flagship product Bio Café, the Asociación de Productores Santa Rosa who provide us with our organic natural sugar, La Chetina, with its milk based products and jams made from local fruits, the Asociación de Mujeres Artesanas de Leymebamba, with their artisan textiles and Artesanía Huamán, with their work in wood. We sell all of their products in our Fair Trade shop. In café Fusiones we support and promote fair trade and in addition to buying our region´s organic food products we also take account of the fine work of local carpenters, potters, weaver and other artisans, because we trust and value their work and we are proud to show the art that they have created with their hands.

Came here for dinner and got a decent meal overall with just a couple of little disappointments.
For mains we had a burger and a salad to share between us, the salad was super tasty but the burger distinctly average.
Drinks were really good with ours mains, a super tasty passion fruit milkshake and a well made pisco sour. The other disappointment came in the coffee however, rather bland and a weak brew im afraid.
Overall would come back and have a salad again but if its a good coffee you are after steer clear

The colors of the cafe are so bright and colorful, makes you feel cozy. The coffee was really nice, the omelet was tasty, and the chocolate bar was good as well. I wish they had a bigger menu for breakfast. Very clean and inviting.

Walking past the central square, having completed a tour of the Citadel, we were lucky enough to stumble across this lovely little restaurant and cafe, hidden within a traditional colonial style building. Using fresh local produce, with vegan and vegetarian options available, this was a real find. Great tasting food and coffee, with excellent friendly service and a great atmosphere. So good we returned the following day for brunch. Good WiFi, so if you need to book the next part of your trip you can do so over a delicious coffee, or maybe indulge in a desert.

Tres bon resto avec un tres bon service et pas trop couteux pour un backpacker . Ils se sont forcés de comprendre mon anglais et s’assurer que je sois satisfait de mon repas J’ai bien aimé l’ambiante !

Really good resto with a good service, it doesn’t cost too much and they really tried to understand my language! They make sure that their service is nice and you are happy.
