“Perfect family getaway.”
Reviewed 23 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

The house is gorgeous and the countryside lovely. We had plenty of space for family fun and games (including the hot tub and pool table) yet plenty of overnight comfort and privacy in luxury accommodations. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to impress!

Dreamcrest Manor is a amazing place to have a family gathering. It's spacious, clean and extremely beautiful. The rooms with the ensuit's are gorgeous. The Sonos sound system throughout the whole house is the best thing ever. The group i went with absolutely loved it. The owner Anthony is very friendly, he makes you feel very comfortable and is very punctual about getting back to you about anything you ask. I would highly recommend this for a work function, family gathering or just for some time away. We were a group of 8 and all of us agreed we would definitely return and will bring sharing our fantastic experience.

“Wonderful for groups, amazing views and spaces.”

For a larger group, this is an amazing home. We were blown away by the ease of communication with the homeowner, and the actual home was fabulous. There is definitely enough space for 12, and supplies like housewares, towels etc. There are wonderful spaces for gathering with fireplaces, and tons of windows and views from every room. I also enjoyed walking the grounds, despite the snow- and being able to meet some of the horses at the adjacent school. The owner kindly contacted us in advance and put up a christmas tree for us to enjoy during our stay.

The master is up high, almost loft style but with walls and doors, etc. Two other bedrooms are on the main level, between the kitchen/dining room, and the large den. The basement is nice and open, and features two more bedrooms, a second bar area, a seating area with a fireplace, pool table and poker table. There are plenty of full bathrooms and one powder room in the den.

Our family really appreciated how quickly the owner responded to snow removal, as not everyone arrived the first day. They also communicated with us to ensure we weren't bothered by the removal times they chose, which was very thoughtful.

At the moment, there is no heat available in the dining room- which was a bit frustrating as we stayed over the Christmas holiday, and wanted to have a formal dinner each night. There are plenty of other places and spaces to eat informally however, and once we were all in the dining room for awhile, it warmed up with our body heat.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, and each features a fireplace and TV. They also have either an ensuite or full bath nearby, which was very convenient. The master is located upstairs- and we were warned in advance that the TV is faulty. In my opinion, I think it would be best if they just removed the TV, or cut the power, as it turns on FULL VOLUME at random times, like 4am.

The home features a huge den with a bar, and the bar area also contains a double wine fridge, which was handy. The sound system throughout the house uses Sonos. I suspect that in general, this isn't an issue- you download an app, and it can connect to Spotify or Apple Music. The catch is that it cannot connect via bluetooth, which means you are locked into using only those two platforms. It doesn't always stay connected, so your music can be going along just fine- and then shut off. However- the app is easy to learn and there are speakers throughout the home, though we weren't able to get the dining room speaker going.

There is wifi, and an accessible washer and dryer. We also found cleaning supplies in the same utility space, which was nice, as it allowed us to sweep during our stay.

Overall, it is just a wonderful space for a large group to spend a weekend! I would love to visit during the summer months to get a chance to use the outdoor hot tub- it was ready to go, but it was just too cold to venture outside- and the sunroom.

Thank you so much for a great stay!
