we stayed there for about 15 days. karin was super nice and helped with contacting guides. If you want you can use the kitchen, and get food in the town nearby, but there are reasturants in the area. It is only a short walk to the beach, and if you are wiling to hike there is a cave nearby. She offers horseback rides. The tents are good quality and she sets them up ahead of time. we thought it was great! kids are welcome
The place was very nice and we had a good experience with the owner Karen and we did a lot of activities that were options provided by karen
La Hacienda is a house run by a Flemish woman who moved to the D.R to become a tour guide. she has several thing that she provides like excellent horse back riding and great hikes and beaches surround the area.
