A friendly atmosphere and attitude from staff at the reception desk. However, non-English-speaking. Not during the guidance of the tour either. Got however, a number of text sheets that describe very well the different localities in the cave, written in English. No reference to this during the guided tour.

In summary, a large indoor cave with a lot of collapsed rock. Pretty bad with lights arranged in the cave. I did not set the "modern art" in various places doing a good or serious impression of this large cave.

I would not say that this cave system has been a great visit value. Would not like to visit it a second time.

Of note in this context that we made another cave tour closer to the French border on the same day that receive the highest ratings on several points.

Take comfortable shoes, and a sweater because it can be chilly, lovely walk inside the caves lasting about one hour and a half, well illuminated and good guides, the most wonderful sight is the cascade! Breath taking!,

We came in the cave just with my girl and one leading person, so its nice and little bit scary atmosphere, but very safe. Nice view in the grotta a lot of lights and steps. It is cold inside, so You need something warm on Your shoulder. 1,5 hour trip inside by program we finish it 45 minutes.

The caves are spectacular and imposing - 1300 steps, about 2 km walk, temperature 9°C. The guided tour took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The place is not easy to reach. After getting off the motorway, it's an endless series of roundabouts with a plethora of street signs but confusing directions. Once you get there, the entrance is easy to miss: there's a huge "Bar" sign and a tiny "Grotte di Bossea ticket office" sign.
Overall well worth a day trip.

Excellent guided walk through this interesting cavern system. Unusual since we climbed the whole way in; the caves are up inside a mountain. A cool place to go in summer.
