Great views, reasonable price - good transfers to the resort.
Food was very pleasant.
Staff was delightful and the Spa / Sauna area is good for the size of the hotel.
I would certainly come back for another winter break.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the cabin to Penken - without any crowds in peak time!
The best thing is the level of service and friendly atmosphere - whole staff is very helpful, interested in their guests, always checking if we are happy... I can only recommend.
The food (we had the half board) was never repetitive within a week, always more options including vegetarian.
Just one detail - we had 3 bed room with towels of 3 different colors - that is very nice and useful...

We recently stayed for a week during a skiing vacation. Rooms are according to expected standard and are spacious and clean. The breakfast was great with lots of variety and we also had half pension which included 4 course dinner which also tasted great. There was usually a fish or a meat dish and also an vegetarian option to choose from. In the basement there is a ski and boot room with lockable ski holders and boot dryers and the ski bus stops just outside the hotel to take you to the nearby gondola lift. The owner family and the staff are really friendly and give great service which means we would love to stay here again if we visit the Mayrhofen area.

We were there for a Friday to Sunday skiing week-end. Hotel has a foc ski bus to take you to the Finkenberg or Hintertux ski area. All staff is very friendly, food is very tasty and using products from nearby bio farm for milk, cheese, jam, honey, meat etc ....Overall price level is absolutely adequate for what you get.

We stayed one night here while on a motorcycle trip. The hotel is located uphill from the village and not far from the ski lift . Apparently we were the only guests that night! But they switched on the sauna for us which was lovely. Nice relaxation area with lots of magazines. Dressing gowns and slippers were available in the room. Be careful if you go outside because the door to the sauna does lock automatically! We had booked half board. Dinner was very good : tomato and mozarella/caprese, pancake soup, fish with rice and salad/meat on a skewer with potato patties and salad, pancakes and ice cream. Wifi was free and worked well. In the village there is an old wooden bridge across a gorge, called Teufelsbruecke. Otherwise nothing much else to see here. The beds were very comfortable and we had a balcony with a nice view of the valley. For breakfast Uschi served us eggs, and there was a sumptious breakfast buffet, again, just for the two of us! Service was excellent. Really friendly staff. I recommend staying here if you want to spend a few days in the Zillertal area. The Zillertaler High Road and the Gerlos Pass are not far from here.
