Friendly owners, excellent food, clean house and grounds, fairly easy to find, a little over an hour from airport in David.
Short walk down/up hill to get to/from house from parking area.
We stayed in the jungle house with a family of 8. The house is situated about 20 meters downhill from the road and offers you a splendid view over the valley and the Vulcan Baru. There's more than enough space in the house and on the porch. It provides you with all the facilities you need, kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The plumbing and tabs could use some improvement, being not thoroughly fitted and not offering steady hot water constantly. Another thing to keep in mind is that it can get quite windy over there, not calling it the devil's breeze for nothing. Because of this we had no power (nor internet) for 2 days.
Olga and Stephane are great host. They put tremendous food on the table, better than any restaurant we've visited in Panama. Olga also helped us out exploring the area and set us up with a great guide for hiking and a really fun,non-Boquete-commercial, local coffee tour. A great spot to enjoy nature and visit the area.
