EXCELLENT describes our many experiences here at the Silver Gulch Brewery. My wife and I love coming here to the Silver Gulch Brewery, at 2195 OLD Steese Hwy N, Fox, Alaska.

The Silver Gulch is out-of-town in Fox. It is NOT in / or near downtown Fairbanks. To get here (coming South or going North) on the (main) Steese Highway, you go to its intersection with the beginning of the Elliott Highway and with the OLD Steese Hwy N. Then turn West and 'voila', there you are, the Silver Gulch Brewery.

We have been coming here for years / decades. We do not drink any alcohol but we sure love a great meal so don't be discouraged with the fact it is a brewery. We have never had a bad experience here. The staff have always been great. We love the ambiance of the Silver Gulch. I am posting photos of our meal(s). Parking is easy, the parking lot is huge.

Stayed in Fairbanks with a Norwegian tour group. Had to take a $20 Uber to get to this brewery. It was worth it. Visited locals and had some awesome beer. Bartenders and staff are helpful and courteous.

We were staying for two nights in the Northern Moosed RV park which is a few yards from the Silver Gulch Brewery/Restaurant. We could not have been more pleased with the meal and the evening we had! The only problem for us was that we could not manage to finish the very generous portions! Everything was delicious and well served - the Alaskan halibut on linguine was of particular note. The beer and frozen margueritas we had were excellent and the house wine (Californian Pinot Noir) was a decent wine at a fair price.

Went for dinner and gals we went a little early arriving around 6pm. By 7 it was packed.

Started with beer and appetizers of Scottish eggs and hush puppies with shredded fish inside. Both were pretty good. Would have been better if the hush puppies had a little kick to them like jalapeño piece in them. Still pretty good.

I had the zesty halibut fish tacos which were really good. Each of the four people at the table order different items and all said they were good.

Tried a beer flight and all of the ones I tried were good. However, the Osculum Infame Belgian Quad was awesome. Most 10.5% AVB beers have too much of a liquor taste that over powers it - not this one. If you’re a Hefeweizen or Belgian Wheat fan is recommend trying this.

The beer was excellent and the food was delicious. We went Saturday night and the restaurant was full so the service was a bit slow but nothing more than expected with a full restaurant. THe chili nachos and french fries were really good. Nice industrial atmosphere.
