I love the ocean. This was my first time visiting the east coast of my home country and it didn't disappoint.

What did disappoint were the morons who decided to ignore the posted warnings about the rocks and ventured out anyway.

Why?

Apart from that the weather was beautiful and I fell in love with Nova Scotia(my ancestry goes back over 200 years in N.S. and it felt like home).

The lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove is one of the most photographed places in Canada, it is over run with tourists but worth going to see. Heed the warnings on the rocks almost every year someone gets swept out to sea. The view is great, when it is windy out or cold out it can be brutally cold at Peggy’s Cove, dress in layers if it is cold out. The rocks can be slippery when wet, so be careful. Don’t overlook the fishing village it can be the best part of the trip.

This location is beautiful, with AMAZING views. There was even a man playing the bagpipes on the rocks to top it all off. It's worth the drive it takes to get here from downtown and was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend going!

I love this place and it always brings back memories of a previous time. This year the grandkids were there and we had a blast climbing over the rocks

My husband and I visited Peggy's Cove while on a cruise excursion. We were NOT disappointed....it was beautiful! The day was overcast, windy and a bit chilly but we did not mind at all! The views, the lighthouse, the rocks are awesome! Would love to visit again on a clear, sunny day and at sunset! Would definitely visit again in whatever conditions!
