Really enjoyed our visit to Low Force/High Force on a scorching hot summer's day - worth visiting both although High Force is chargeable at £1.50 a pop. Welcome Tea Room at Bowleas Visitor Centre where parking is based on a £2 donation without time limit.

Thank Lord E

There is a car park at the top (can't recall the price on the machine) . You buy the tickets for the waterfall at the shop £1.50 each . The walk to the high force waterfall is across the road it took about 10 min (we walk quick) to walk down through the trees with the aroma of wild garlic everywhere. The waterfall was nice to to get decent photos you have to climb over rocks. The path felt steeper going back up. l wouldn't like to be pushing a pram or wheelchair up there. We only saw high force waterfall because we had other things planned . But you could spend a good few hours going to the low force and Gibson's cave . There is a pub and a shop there for that well deserved drink when you come back up .

Thank Paula L

Excessive charges for a short walk to see a quite nice but small waterfall. Do a bit of research and walk over the bridge just a bit downstream and then walk up the other side to the top of high force.
£3 for car park and £3 for us to use a path is unjustified
