“Ticks all the boxes”

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night stay ay Villa Antigoni and it was a good choice.
The arrangements were made via Supertravel who were fast, friendly and very efficient, they took care of all the details and that included the car which is necessary for getting to this villa.
To begin with the pictures showing the villa are accurate, what you see is what you get and it does not disappoint, for us the star attraction was the pool which was excellent and very well maintained 3 times a week.
The villa is also in good condition with all the equipment you will need and it is also cleaned 3 times in the week, there is enough space to comfortably sleep 4 but keep in mind the beds are somewhat on the hard side.
I strongly recommend you do not rent a big car, the road going to the villa is tiny and very twisty for a long steep climb, Supertravel arranged for us to be met at the arrival section of the airport by "Supercars" representative who took us to our little Hyundai i10 which was ideal for the job.
The location of the villa is high up in the hills and that means it is quiet and away from the main roads and crowds, the area is delightfully rural with some fascinating local wildlife, in the night you will see the family of owls that live by the villa hunting.
A car is essential because the walk down to the local shop in the heat of Corfu would be impossible, there are plenty of local shops and restaurants within 5 minutes drive of the villa, all were good.
The villa has airconditioning in all the areas you will need, the units worked perfectly which was good because Corfu has long and beautiful hot days.
It was my first time on Corfu and I found the people to be cheerful and helpful, the island has a charm all of its own which is addictive and the rolling landscape was crammed full of olive trees which always draw your attention and gets your mind wandering nicely.
To sum up, if you are looking for a relaxing place for a vacation in the sun then this is my recommendation, the whole package did not disappoint in any way, my only regret was not staying longer.

Fantastic little villa for a couple or small family with a great pool and very private. Wonderful views across the bay to Corfu town with many an hour spent on the balcony with a bottle of something chilled!
Only downside is the very steep walk or drive to the main road for the many local amenities. Recommend: Vitamins taverna in Nissaki, the 2 tavernas on the beach in Kalamaki for lunch or dinner. All local supermarkets are well stocked. Kassiopi harbour is a lovely place to grab a beer or coffee, fresh fish shop here too is very good.
