This is a world class hotel that leaves many competitors in the dust. It's like a Disney world for adults, opulent in every detail. Refined, friendly service is offered as if you were a guest in their own home. The restaurant was impressive as well as the Bar offerings.

Went to Ballyfin for a birthday party. It was our first trip to Ireland. We LOVED Ballyfin. We could not think of anything they could have done to make it a better trip. The staff anticipated our every want. The dinners, the walks, the falconry, the whiskey tasting, the Irish dancing and the spa were all fabulous in every way! We were there for three nights and never lacked for activity or something beautiful to observe. We biked, walked swam and ate and drank for days - the perfect vacation!!!
I highly recommend!!!

With all the awards this hotel has received our expectations were very high but we were not disappointed. It was everything we expected and more. It's heart warning how this magnificent building has been so lovingly restored and is now enjoying a renaissance as a magnificent hotel. We stayed three nights to celebrate my 50th birthday and we had a wonderful and truly memorable time.

Room tip: The Lady Sarah Pole room has a lovely view of the water feature.

Stunning beautiful house. If you want to go to a fantastically restored house and have peace and quiet then this is for you. Great walks also. The rooms are all perfect. Furniture excellent. However the food is not perfection.

We had a lovely evening at Ballyfin, the place is stunning, food delicious and the atmosphere and service so unaffected but fabulous in every way, really enjoyable. The eight course tasting menus was delicious and pace of service perfect!
