“Ideal base for exploring the region!”
Reviewed 28 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This was a wonderful home base for us as we explored the region for a week. Jon was a perfect host: available for detailed and useful information about the area but respectful of our privacy. The accommodations are spacious, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable. Municipal off street parking is close by. Breakfast was delicious and dietary accommodations were graciously made. Couldn't imagine more pleasant accommodations!

“Sublime apartment, wonderful hosts”
Reviewed 10 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I stayed at Le Petit Tour for three nights in early May and 5 stars barely does it justice. The apartment itself is extraordinarily spacious, with bedroom, sitting room and the most beautiful bathroom - all sensitively restored and exquisitely decorated. Located at the top of a spiral staircase in the eponymous little tower, it's a most comfortable and gorgeous retreat with super views over a manicured front courtyard and quiet street. Jon and Liz -the English couple who carried out the renovations and who now run the chambre d'hote - are delightful, helpful and accommodating but also keen to ensure that their guests enjoy as much privacy as they wish. Le Petit Tour is situated near the middle of Puissalicon, a charming, quiet village with a castle, bakery and bar, well within reach of the tourist sights, fabulous wines, some great restaurants, and fantastic walking/ cycling. (Jon and Liz are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local area and happy to provide recommendations). Given that the apartment is reachable via a spiral staircase, I wouldn't suggest it for anyone with mobility problems or very young children, but for anyone else it's a great value and gorgeous place to stay in the Languedoc!

“Romantic apartment in 17th century tower”
Reviewed 11 January 2014 for a stay in August 2013

My husband and I were very lucky to stay for 3 nights in this beautiful apartment, newly redecorated with lots of love and attention to detail. The charming apartment is located up in the old tower of this wonderful 17th century house; very romantic, but also very spacious and comfortable. You can be guaranteed a warm welcome by Jon and Liz who serve a very tasty French breakfast in the enclosed, equally beautiful garden under shady trees. The house is set in a lively typically French village and an interesting area, from where we enjoyed lovely trips to nearby lakes, rivers, waterfalls and visits to charming villages. Our visit here was lovely and this is certainly the most beautiful B&B we stayed in on our five weeks tour around the south of France!
