We had a wonderful time at this paradise like island. There were only five guests staying in the Ecolodge and Oznas took perfect care of us. Because most of the comments here already covered all the great things about this place (fresh food, great drinks, wonderful service...) I want to underline my appreciation regarding the „Eco“ part of the lodge. You will not find any plastic around this place, even the shampoo is stored in a reusable dispensers. They produce energy using a sun panel. The water comes from the lake. I even more enjoyed my stay knowing that this place was running nearly completely green. So, all in all the perfect get away.

We were at El Espino for two days and it was a fantastic stop on our trip. It was fantastic waking up to beautiful views of the lake and volcano through the huge double doors of the casita! The service and food were also fantastic. We had a great, relaxing stay just using the kayaks to paddle around the lake and enjoying the little isleta!

Room tip: The casitas have the best views of the lake and are further from the main eating and bar area.

Amazing private island hotel! Delicious food, excellent cocktails, and awesome staff. Highly recommend a stay here if you are looking to relax and enjoy nature. Small private island ecolodge with 5 rooms. The island is about a 10 min boat ride and 15 min drive from Granada. We did the bird tour and net fishing. The massages were amazing. We loved our stay here and weren't ready to leave after 3 nights!

Room tip: Casitas have private balconies with hammocks. Treehouse rooms shave a shared balcony. Bungalow has a private balcony with a hammock

I booked the "casita" and it was truly an incredible little house straight out of an instagram profile. It was so chic and focused on admiring the beauty of the island and the lake it is on, not to mention we had a perfect view of the Volcano that was a center piece. Honestly there was not a single time that I did not feel like I was in a tropical paradise. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy pure tranquility with yoga classes, massages and the pool.

Room tip: Ask staff for any recommendations when it comes to food because they have incredible cuisine.

Arriving to the Isleta by boat you can sense the relaxation and nature before you moor. Martin, Hendry and Franklin made it very easy to arrive, leave our car at the marina in Granada and now its time to relax. Kayak and boat tours are available along with yoga and massage. What a place!
