Well, for what has to be one of the coldest weekends, we were certainly given the warmest of welcomes! Perfect location, great room, perfect for Wilson, our dog, who loved his break too! The food was fabulous and we will definitely return, looking forward to seeing you again.

Very welcoming couple Rob and Michelle, very good food, room comfortable and clean. Well stocked bar will definitely be back. Breakfast was worth the money on its own. Nice touch outside with the bird's and animals.

Stayed for one night with family. Owners were a delight, very friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely; clean and warm with easy access. Shower and bathroom were also clean. Mattress was a little uncomfortable and the lack of Wi-Fi in rooms was a disadvantage, especially as we had a little one who was in bed by 8pm, however, this was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was fab, all laid out nicely with lots of choice and unlimited amounts. Nothing too much trouble and the owners took care of any special requests. The animal sanctuary at the back was a nice addition and entertaining. Snakes, tortoises and chipmunks. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you :)

Came on a recommendation to Seashells and by happy coincidence went on ‘create your own pie Wednesday’.

This involves inviting you to create your pie by selecting your own fillings from a choice from around 40 ingredients to including meat, vegetables and cheese. This added a little fun to tea and encourages you to use a little imagination and creativity. You also get to choose your accomplishments (chips, wedges, mash and salad or vege) and are served with a generous amount of gravy. The pies are delicious and pastry very good........no soggy bottoms here!

The staff are lovely and friendly and I’m already planning my next pie.

Would highly recommend.
