We visit Mablethorpe every year with the family and normally always pay a visit here and in the past it has been very nice for the value. This time however we were left with a very bitter taste in our mouths with the service- in particular that of the floor manager. Having all gotten our carvery meals and nearly finished, unfortunately I came across a human hair in my food ( not mine-wrong colour) and despite making eye contact and gesturing to 3 separate members of staff- floor manager included - we did not get any service. Having stopped eating at that point and waited for the table to be cleared, again we waited a good 10 mins and watched 3 members of staff wandering around the bar area including the floor manager again, having a private conversation which apparently was quite amusing.
When a waitress did appear, this one was lovely and had not been standing around chatting- she did apologise on behalf of the manager which I did appreciate.
I acknowledge that this is not a 5* restaurant and doesn’t implement table service - but when you are completely ignored by multiple members of staff- it is extremely bad customer service when dealing/ ignoring my genuine issue.
