Went with friends who love it. Busy with mainly Spanish clients. Unfortunately got my main course wrong, offered to change it but would have meant eating after everyone else had finished. Menu del dia was limited. Good reasonably priced wine.
Please not the tripadviser website will not allow me to rate food service and value, so 4, 3 and 3

Thank lmj52

Located in the old part of the town, this restaurant offers a more authentically Spanish experience with great food and fair prices - although this does mean it is often packed full of people, both seated in the main restaurant and standing eating tapas in the bar area. The waiters are very helpful and are able to offer recommendations if you need them, the menu itself is huge so can be daunting!

This is probably the most hyped restaurant in Los Alcazeres but beware. Massive menu means it is possibly (probably) not cooked with great care. Tapas might be great but you will get as good or better elsewhere (try El Toro) for a lot less money. We ordered the Caldero de Mar Menor as a main dish. It was awful!! The fish was served separately and consisted of a head, a tail and a couple of bony slices through the body (this after the waiter assured us there were no bones). In addition, it tasted and smelt a bit doubtful. I have had Caldero before and know the dish well - this was not right. As I had taken my Mother in Law for a special dinner and recommended the local dish, I was mortified. I told the waiter what I thought and he clearly did not care. 13 euros a head for this - never again!!!!
