Makis rooms are set off a small road that runs parallel to Katelios beach - so it really is a one minute walk to this lovely, low key resort.
The beaches in the whole of Katelios bay are sandy and beautifully clear - we even saw turtles in the sea!
There are enough restaurants to give you a good choice but not enough for it to feel crowded or too commercial. We had some great meals out - we are veggie's but I'm sure most people would feel just as happy.
The couple who own the studio's live upstairs and could not have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly - pretty much like everyone else we met in Katelios.
The rooms themselves are clean, exactly as you can see in the photo's and all we needed (mum and 12 year old son). Makis rooms sit on a lovely small holding so there are sheep, cows and chickens on the other side of the Olive, orange, and lemon trees. It felt homely, honest and perfectly Greek.
