“Every consideration was made for the guest's comfort”
Reviewed 16 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We decided to take a short midweek break to try to see and photograph Black Grouse and Stable Retreat was in an ideal location, just 10 minutes away from a large area of heather moor.
Stable Retreat is a first floor flat next to the owner’s property and in our opinion is a cut above the average self-catering property. Set in the peaceful countryside with fantastic views from the balcony, the flat is newly and tastefully decorated with comfortable modern furniture and all mod cons - wifi, flat screen TV, DVD etc. Every consideration has been given to the guest’s comfort: fresh flowers and fruit on the table, fluffy dressing gowns and complimentary shower gel and shampoo, and in the kitchen all the ingredient for continental breakfast, and lastly, a very warm welcome from the owners. There is plenty of room for off-road parking and nice places to eat out in villages close by.
It’s an ideal place to stay for those who like the countryside or want to explore nearby towns of Llangollen or Chester.

Management Response
18 Mar 2017
It was a pleasure to welcome such lovely guests, Sue & Steve had an indepth knowledge of the wildlife and rare species of black grouse which are nearby to us at Worlds End. They were also kind and considerate on early morning bird watching visits and hope to welcome them back in the future.
