“Luxury accommodation in a quiet location”

This well executed and characterful barn conversion has it all but if you do run short of anything , it's next to the owners own house and Rachael will ensure you are catered for.
On arrival, you turn in straight off a quiet road and can park right up against the Old Parlour which although it looks basic and quaint from the outside presents a luxury well executed conversion of character inside.
It's very comfortable with some quality touches.

“Idyllic countryside home away from home - didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The old parlour has far exceeded our expectations and the photos on the website as nice as they were did not do it justice. The decor is beautiful and been done to an exceptional standard. A lovely place to stay where every detail was thought of (even ice was supplied for our cocktails). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning in the near future.

“Gorgeous”
Reviewed 10 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

I booked the Old Parlour as a last minute surprise weekend away for my husband's birthday, and it was just perfect. Arriving late after a stressful journey stuck in traffic, the already lit woodburner and fairy lights made the place instantly relaxing and magical. Rachael's attention to detail makes the difference - thick luxury bedding, silky soft throws, high quality furniture, beautiful toiletries in the wetroom - and the well-equipped kitchen made even cooking a meal in seem like something special. The building is completely detached and private, but Rachael is always on hand if you need something. We'll definitely be back soon!

Thank you Lynn. Come back and try The Garden Room next time as it has a single daybed downstairs for your daughter and its own private garden area so you can light the brazier and enjoy an evening of star gazing! Very best wishes, Heald Country House

“Delightful rural retreat!”
Reviewed 8 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Myself and three girlfriends stayed at the Old Parlour for a weekend away from it all and it really was the perfect location and accommodation for us. It had a really boutiquey feel to it and the attention to detail was second to none. What was nice was that it was completely self-contained and allowed us total privacy. We ate at a lovely pub within walking distance and even had therapists come and give us massages on the Saturday morning, which certainly eased our sore heads from the night before! I would highly recommend the Old Parlour if you want a relaxing and luxurious retreat away in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

“Absolutly fantastic, the perfect staycation!”
Reviewed 8 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We stayed here for a couple of days following the birth of our son. It was the perfect hideaway for us to spend time as family with our new-born and eight year old. Warm, cosy and tastefully decorated to the 5 star standard as described in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and only short drive away for us. Rachael is the perfect host and extremely lovely!
Highly recommended 5* retreat!
Thank you
Kindest Regards
Nicola, Darren, Maisie & Baby William
