I enjoyed my stay at the Mondepedra which I found to be a pleasant though perhaps dated in its décor.. The hotel is short walk to a supermarket and the beach.
After you leave the reception you move into an open area with seating for the bar and restaurant and in front of that is the swimming pool. Around this area in a ring are the chalet style rooms. There is a further ring of rooms behind the first. The communal areas of the hotel give a sense of tranquillity and peace.
As you enter your chalet there is large hall with chairs and of the hall is the bathroom and bedroom. The rooms are quite dark and this is accentuated by the dark furniture. The bathroom could be updated but is clean and has a good range of toiletries. The bedroom is large and pleasant. There is a mini bar rather than a fridge.
I had the menu of the day for dinner which though it had limited options was excellent and included a large glass of wine.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. I was able to check in at 1 p.m. even though the official check in time is 4 p.m.More
