This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. A small vacation with my family good sized rooms for 2 people, 4 people would be a squeeze. A very Spanish hotel but speak english, breakfast is nice a small can eat what you like a little basic but all the basic english and Spanish essentials but nice to eat near the pool. Lovely pool very clean, is quite a walk to the beach down hill we always hire a car, as is a small drive to local restaurants in Orihuela Costa. Would recommend for a small holiday or stay, for a couple or small kids, car is recommended though, 25mins from Murcia airport, 5 mins to Cabo Roig by car. I would rate this quiet and nice hotel with a Spanish twist, not for those looking for lively holiday, but you will get a nice rest here, WiFi a little slow but splendid staff a holiday with no fuss enjoy.

We were recommended to come to this hotel by some friends. This review is based on the premise this is a 3 * Star hotel and therefore the 5 rating is based against other 3* hotels we have stayed at. We agree with some of the previous reviews some of the decor, furniture is dated and dark oak/mahogany although some of this is intentional in keeping with authentic Spanish property. The front of the hotel is very appealing and well decorated and welcoming. We were warmly greeted by Asun on check in and our room was ready at 1:00pm even though check out is 12 noon. The room had air conditioning. Yes the room has a musky smell but if you open windows and allow air in it soon goes. It is very clean both in the rooms and the reception areas. The pool area is spacious and the pool is clean a very accessible from your room. The drinks are a reasonable price. We only had breakfast but that was fine. Cooked eggs and bacon along with the usual continental breakfast. All staff we found be friendly and helpful and spoke English. We have no hesitation recommending if you are looking for a good 3 star hotel. We must mention Asun again as she was very helpful both before and throughout

Room Tip: Ask for a room surrounding the pool if the pool is something you like.

This very Spanish hotel is absolutely charming. The single storey rooms are set around a lovely pool, a large covered seating area, with flowers plants and palm trees.
The rooms are large, clean and have all the normal facilities but are rather dated and some repairs (tiles etc) are needed. Breakfast quite good but very "hit and miss" as the staff are not efficient in keeping all the dishes filled... had to ask for at least one item each morning

Very jaded and tired and well worn in places although spotlessly clean. Not particularly friendly staff and terrible breakfast (included) very limited and not enough ! If you arrived for breakfast after 9.30am very little was left and tiny choice of fruit or yoghurt. Menu for lunch/evening meal very little choice , slow service.
On the plus side drinks particularly spirits very generous and no problem with the wine. Apart for that early season not a good time. Lots of places closed.

Room Tip: Not too near to the pool

Ok.. So we booked here during the UK Easter holidays (for the kids) and we stayed from 04th-11th April. We booked as the price was reasonable (for half board) and it had good reviews and was close tot he beach.
So this place has its good points and bad points (like most places!), but overall it just depends on what your looking for and when you go, so I can only tell you about our experience and when we went it was EXTREMELY QUIET! On about 5 of the 7 days we were there we only saw about 10 other holiday groups in total... which was quite perfect for many of the older groups, but having a youngish child with me made it a little eerie at times. But on our last day there some large groups of people arrived and said it was for a SKA event being held the next day...! Which we would have loved to attend, but there was no advertising of this event - even though we had been at the hotel all week and nothing mentioned on their website either. We were also told by locals that the hotel turns into party central during certain times as they have a nightclub attached to the building - again we knew nothing of this from the website or inside the hotel - At all! Very strange...
Anyway, the general staff were fine, but the catering staff were really friendly and helpful. We had half board (which included breakfast and dinner - no drinks) and enjoyed the breakfast each day (most of the usual you would expect) and had an option of 2 starters and 2 mains each evening. As there were 2 of us we simply had one of each every evening and just had what was offered. I think we had dinner on 4 of the evenings and only one of them was not to our liking, but the rest of the time the meals were delicious! The swimming pool was (unfortunately) too cold to swim in, we did attempt it on our first day and I thought I was going to get hypothermia! Haha.. The rooms were dated, smelt a little funny on first entering and no wifi away from the main building, but it was clean enough, had what we needed and was adequate for the price we paid. The location is also another difficulty... It is very close to an amazing beach within walking distance and also a garage and some restaurants, its within a decent walk / short drive to any main shops etc and this is fine. But nothing really close enough to walk with younger kids and have an evening out with alcohol (and no driving), so this was a little disappointing for us, but could be perfect for other people. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as good value for money, though I would maybe call ahead and see if they have any events on before deciding whether to go or not (depending if you want a party palace or a silent haven! Haha).

Room Tip: All the rooms are single storey and close to the pool so all of them are ok
