“An immaculate, cosy cottage”
Reviewed 19 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The cottage was very clean, well presented and homely with all the equipment needed for our short break. Martlesham was a great base for cycling, lots of pretty villages, quiet roads and easy off road tracks and also a pleasant 40 minute walk along the river to Woodbridge.
The stairs are very steep but with care, manageable even after a few drinks in the Red Lion across the road! The Black Tiles pub at the other end of the village is very nice too.
There is no dining table or chairs inside the cottage but luckily it was warm and sunny while we were there so we had breakfast at the patio table outside. The wrought iron gate through to next door's garden, although looks very good would be better if it was a solid gate to give a bit more privacy whilst sitting outside.
There was a bit of a muddle over our checkout time but it was all handled very courteously and efficiently, as were the questions we had asked before we booked.
We had a great time and would stay here again.

“Beautiful Cottage - excellent customer service”

We stayed here as a family of four with two children aged 4 and 8.

The cottage is beautiful everything is of a high standard perfectly colour coordinated, clean, good strong WIFI and a fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Yes the stairs are steep, but you soon get used to it my four year old sat on her bottom to go down the stairs and didn't have any problems!

I feel I have to leave this review as I'm very impressed with the customer service we received. There was an issue with the cottage, which was dealt with swiftly and professionally and it wouldn't put me off stopping here again, in fact I'm more likely to stop here again, as I know that issues are dealt with properly! The owner visited to sort the problem and was lovely. Please do consider this little cottage it's very good value and you won't be disappointed!

Cottage was of a good standerd cosy and clean good tv and nice shower plus good wifi signal. But the stairs were very steep this was mentioned in write up but they were much steeper then we expected bit scary if you need loo in the night and wear glasses .The biggest problem we had was getting car into parking space this is very tight and ackward and having a big SUV at first look seemed undo able we did manage and Neighbour was very nice and said if we got stuck and needed him to move his car he totally understood .all this said we did have a very pleasant weekend
