The apartment was clean, reasonably well equipped, and represented good value. The owner was superb at responding to any query I emailed to her whilst staying in the property, and arranged for a broken washing machine door to be fixed within 24 hours, which was impressive. Also, management at the development were very good.
I stayed for three weeks and was joined by two of my sons, who are in their 20's, at various times. We all agreed the location was perfect - a 7 euro taxi ride to the port (Taxi rank is 2 mins walk), and nice bars and restaurants beside the development.
I think you need a car there, but a bus stops outside, and it goes to Marbella.
The pool is really nice, but a few too many flies when we were there in August - apparently it's due to the proximity of the golf course, where they use a lot of water.
The big bonus over other developments that I've seen in Nueva Andalucia, is the tranquility of the setting - beautiful tropical gardens, and stunning view of the mountain. Tennis and paddle tennis courts were extremely well maintained, and free wi-fi in the office was popular!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.
