I had the pleasure of being taken here as a treat by friends and it was certainly that. From the minute we arrived we were met with friendly and welcoming staff and enjoyed the comfort of sitting in front of a roaring fire before going through to dining room for our food. The presentation of the food was outstanding, every plate was like a work of art, the food was totally amazing and staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend a visit to chapter 5, a culinary experience to remember. Chapter 5 staff want to make every customers visit a luxury dining experience.

What can we say other than this place serves amazingly tasty food. The staff are mainly young, friendly, well trained and presented, attentive without being intrusive... but the star of the show is the food, all of it, starters, mains and desserts are all obviously made from scratch, and the chef's long career and classical training shines through. Reasonably priced for the quality too, plus they can accommodate gluten intolerant on virtually every dish. We weren't disappointed, I doubt you will be either.

An incredibly impressive culinary experience from the first moment to the last. There is an outstanding and impressive amount of passion and love that is poured into the service and food in this haven of culinary heaven. The beauty is in the detail, a young staff who are impressively trained, notice everything and anticipated our every need, the produce impeccably presented and carefully sourced. Even the medley of vegetables which I asked for plain was bursting with goodness and flavour. Broccoli as deep a green as the lushest foliage in Ireland. Romanesco an impressive source, provided a contrasting colour an flavour against cute heirloom carrots bursting with flavour. This is a restaurant that does everything to make your experience special and it sure was! We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Northern Ireland!

Myself and my husband dined in this gem of a restaurant for our 2nd wedding anniversary.
From we stepped inside to the lovely cosy and warm reception area we were made feel so welcome and valued customers
We had duck and soup to start then ribeye and wild boar for mains all dishes were carefully and very creatively put together.
The flavours in all our plates were outstanding. The waiting staff were very attentive. Was lovely to get gins served with the proper garnish and a decent glass which is a must in any restaurant.
Our whole evening was just wonderful cant wait for our next visit.
Top marks to all staff for a lovely time.

Thank Cathy N

Positives: the decor / setting is very pleasant. There is a good gin menu. Salt and chilli squid for starter was tasty.

Negatives: the service. I was made to feel an inconvenience several times. The staff are not focussed on the customer experience. I dislike the way the staff shout the name of the dish as they bring it to the table ‘who wants chicken’ etc.
My main course ( fish) was bland and uneventful. The chef seems to like to serve gherkin with every dish which is unusual! The feeling I’m left with is that chef is trying too hard but not quite getting it right.
