He has devoted most of his life as captain beany and has raised money for many charities over a long time. I reckon he should be rewarded for his non stop efforts to help people.

Did not know quite what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Captain Beany was a wonderful host and his museum is definitely worth a visit.

We’d previously seen Captain Beany on a few tv shows and thought he seemed like a top bloke. We’ve wanted to visit the museum of excellence for a while and we had a free day so reached out to the captain via the email address on his website. (Remember bookings are by appointment only!!) He doesn’t usually open the museum on a Saturday but we were very lucky on this occasion that he was opening to accommodate some other visitors. Beany was a pleasure to deal with via email and we arranged the visit very easily. Unfortunately due to traffic we were a bit late but made sure we let the captain know and he was fine with it.

On entering the museum we felt instantly welcomed and had an amazing afternoon there. You will not regret coming here if you are interested in the weird and wonderful (or just a lover of beans!). Beany has a touching and interesting story and raises an amazing amount for charity and even listening to his stories about his life are entertainment enough without the museum! But the museum is the added bonus! The captain took time to talk us through everything and we found it extremely interesting and learnt a lot about beans :) Beany was very accommodating about taking photographs and had lots of fun ideas for a photo shoot which we really appreciated as they made our photos extra special.

Captain Beany your museum is truly one of a kind, you are a fantastic entertainer and all round lovely person and we feel lucky and privileged to have spent an afternoon on PLANET BEANUS!!!!!! Thank you once again for your hospitality.

Until next time

Charlotte and Craig !!!!
