Thank you again for the absolutely GREAT hospitality. Sani Stone Lodge has excellent staff, good and comfortable facilities, stunning views and tasty food. We recommend it with no reservation at all. This was our second stay at the establishment and we will definitely be back soon.

A good choice in Sani Pass Lesotho area. Not too many alternative around, but this is a good place to stay. Cheap, quite, comfortable, good food and kind friendly managing. What more to ask? The last few km from the main road is a deviation not too easy. But with a 4x4 no problem and the distance is short.

Our family spent one evening in a large rondavel here upon arrival in Lesotho. We loved it. The location is amazing if you crave being in the middle of nowhere, surrounded just by hills and mountains and sheep. We were the only guests here for the night, only adding to the experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and then breakfast the next day. Service was friendly and the rondavel could have fitted another four people. My husband, our kids and I all loved it. Sadly it was a tad too warm to light the fire!

It was a lovely place to stay over, great and friendly staff. Terrific view over the valley. The only problem we had was finding the road that lead to Sani Stone Lodge.
Bear in mind that there is no convenient store close by.

Incredibly quiet picturesque location 8 km from the top of Sani Pass!
Hostess was friendly and extremely helpful.
Food was really good.
Lovely remote location and I would recommend a raised body vehicle as the last few kilometre or so from the main road is quite rocky.
Really an awesome place to stay,
BUT:
Very shoddy workmanship in the finishing of the buildings, some doors don't close properly, ceilings not finished off etc.
The gas geysers are useless. The switch off after 1 minute of hot water and often you cant get them back on and end up with a cold shower. - I won't be visiting in winter until this is sorted out!
There is no electricity and the onsite generator runs from 7-10 in the evening which is not really a problem, but some cold refreshments at the bar during the day would be nice.
