A lovely getaway into the bush. Experience amazing wildlife and bird watching. We had a wonderful time relaxing next to or in the pool. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Ian for an unforgettable stay.

Antares provides the real nature lover with a wonderful African bush experience very close to nature. The facilities are basic , but more than sufficient to make sure that your stay will be remembered forever. Ian and Mell together with their staff , with their helpfulness, ensure that your stay is enjoyed .Antares is recommended without any doubt.

Room tip: The rooms are basic but sufficient.

we enjoy our stay in Ian's place
we learn a lot about animals and stars!
during a night safari, we look for lions and find 6 lions...
no light pollution from this place makes this place fantastic by night also.

Ian was very helpfull for the following of our trip.

I stayed with two friends of mine at Antares in December 2016 being the only guests at the time. There is space for 12 people there in six basic, put clean double rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, but one should bring all foodstuffs, as the next shop is 30 miles away. Ian apart from being a nice and attentive host, is also a knowledgable interlocutor and guide when it comes to flora and fauna of the area. The game drive and game walk we did were both excellent, with a lot of wildlife to be seen close by. One could also simply sit on the terrace and watch various species of antilopes and even elephants coming to drink at the nearby watering hole. An absolutely terrific place and highly recommended for people, who don't need the excessive luxury of 5-star bush lodges.
