We stayed here before starting our trip into Kruger. It's a short drive from Phalaborwa Gate. La Lechere is lovely guest house and a great place to relax. The owners are very friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of Kruger National Park.

Loved everything about this place, its small and isolated next to the border of Kruger national park. Rooms were beautiful and having your own personal outside space was a bonus. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Would definitely recommend and stay again

This small guest house/hotel offer good service and excellent value for good food and wine. The proprietors are a couple and have good local knowledge and very friendly and helpful. The husband is also the chef and cook up an excellent 4 course dinner at less than £20. Excellent South African wine costs between £10 to £15 which is an absolute steal. The only regret is we only stayed two nights as part of a package but it is well worth staying longer if you want t0 spend more time at Kruger Park.
