We have been in Vejer several times and have always hoped to find Vina y Mar open as it looked such a lovely place. This time we were lucky enough to eat there twice as the restaurant was open on Fridays and Saturdays (the super enthusiastic owner and chef have other jobs- but it is open more frequently in high season). The choice of sherries was outstanding and the owner was very happy to advise on pairings with food and general tastings. The atmosphere was bustling, full of locals, and the food was excellent. The menu was limited but clearly based on what was fresh in the market. Vegetables were presented beautifully and the choices of tuna and meat were very nicely prepared. Overall this was a totally positive experience and deserves to do very well indeed.
